Thanks to the wonders of YouTube we’re pleased to be able to bring you our first video on the site! It was filmed by Tim Gossling of Derby ChurchNet during Hope’s handout of hot cross buns and creme eggs in Belper on Good Friday. Cheers Tim!

Dreamscheme aims to help both young and old
More details can now be unveiled about HopeforBelper’s latest Dreamscheme project for 2010.
Most of the project will be based at Green Lane Playgroup. The team is hoping to transform a small dingy yard at the back of the building, and possibly provide a much larger play area for the children who use the facility.
As part of the Dreamscheme we are also hoping to work with the residents and staff at Ada Belfield old people’s home on nearby Field Lane.
We are hoping that the young people will be able to make some improvements to the outside garden as well as spend time with the residents.
If you have thought about volunteering this year please would contact Gareth and Helen Greenwood.
A reminder that the dates are Mon Aug 16th – Fri Aug 20th. Time approx 1pm till 7pm. Please pray that God will provide the workers.
HopeforBelper will be going into Belper School this month to do three assemblies and to invite students to come on Dreamscheme.
God has been clearly leading us through the project this year, we need to continue to bring it to him and ask that he will help us to see it through.
More hope at Eastertide
Volunteers wanted!
For the third year in a row, Hope for Belper will be running a Dreamscheme project this summer, with the 16-20 August confirmed as the dates for the initiative.
Details of the project are still being finalised, but once again it will provide an opportunity for young people to do marvellous things for our community.
If you are available that week and are interested in volunteering, please contact Gareth at ggandhg@aol.com.

Volunteers are also needed to join a small Hope for Belper team who will be out and about in the town centre on Good Friday handing out hot cross buns and other goodies.
If you would like to help, please contact Paul on nottinghamroad@hotmail.co.uk.
Celebrating Hope
This Wednesday (24 February) at the Queen’s Head, Chesterfield Road, Belper, Hope for Belper will be holding a meeting with partner organisations to scope possible ideas for the 2010 Dreamscheme.
This will be followed, at about 8.15pm, by a presentation reminding us what the group has been up to over the last two years, some reflections on the impact on the town, and finally by some of Belper’s church leaders praying for the partners both present on the night and others not able to attend
Please join together with us in the ‘Upper Room’ to celebrate what God has done through Hope for Belper if you can – get yourself a drink from the bar on your way in and there will be a few nibbles upstairs
It would be really great to see you!!
